I've been waiting for this one when I found out it was going to be a single dad romance. It's also a great second chance romance. Frankie and Shawn have a history and now they have to work together once again. They have a huge case to solve with a drug kingpin. Boy did this book keep me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to gobble up the pages, but at times I had to take a quick break because the intensity of what was to come. It warmed my heart with Shawn and Isla. His life is thrown for a loop, but he takes it head on. Isla is such a bright spot in this book. She just stole my heart. I loved watching Frankie and Shawn reconnect. It did my heart good. I so loved the cameos of some of my favorite characters in this world. This is a must read! The tease for the next book has me already eagerly awaiting the next book!
