This is the first book in the series and boy is it a good one!! It starts off with a bang. This second chance romance was hard to put down. Mane and Nydia had me gobbling up the pages. I loved this small town. I already want more!! Getting to know Beacon's band in the the Baker's Creek series so I was excited for this series. I also enjoyed seeing cameos from my favorite Claudia character's. I'm not gonna lie my heart just bled for Nydia. Man she's been through a lot and she needs something to go her way for a change. Though with her ex Mane back in town you would think things got worse, but that might her turning pint for the better. I really loved watching these two reconnect. Made my heart really happy. This book me on a great journey that had me forgetting my problems for a bit. Right now that's gold for me because life is kicking me so I truly needed a book to get lost in. This book fit that bill and then some. I would highly recommend this one! I'm going to be impatiently waiting for the next book!
