This was such a good story. It pulls out all the emotions. I felt sadness, happiness, anger, and surprise. Alice and Zoey's back story breaks my heart and the beginning of this one to see them struggle really effected me. Now Morris is not someone you would associate with as a white knight, but that's how he feels to Alice and Zoey. His helping hand towards them warmed me up instantly to Morris. That man has a whole bunch of surprises in store. I love the little family that's created with this little rag tag group. That was one of my favorite parts. Another great moment is Alice finding her wings again. Truly beautiful. This book gave me a feeling of hope especially for Zoey and Alice. Little Zoey stole my heart and watching her blossom was the absolute best! Now the anger I felt was towards Alice's nasty piece of work ex. He so needs a visit from karma. He's rotten to the core. I would so recommend this one. All the characters will have you gobbling this one up!
