When a routine pediatric checkup shows that Sophia is ill, it forces Isaac to confront every one of his fears. Finding a matching donor is her only hope, and Isaac begins the journey to find Sophia’s mysterious father. There are no names or dates in his sister’s battered journal, and all Isaac knows is that he’s looking for a hockey player who was nothing more than a one-night stand. Little does he know that finding Joachim could destroy everything.


Review:
4.5 Stars
This is the second book in the series and boy was it just as emotional as the first. This one pulled on the heartstrings. Well first all this book just gutted me with Sophia. No little one should go through what she had. Life is just not fair at times! My heart went out to Isaac he's been on his own putting all his effort to save his little girl now it's going to take a miracle for him to accomplish it. Joachim has been given a second chance for his career and life. I honestly can say the Rebels are the best fit for him. That team has one another's backs. Their support is going to be key for him to succeed. Joachim's life is turned upside down once again and it's going to show his inner strength he didn't know he had. It's quite beautiful watching Joachim  and Isaac navigate their new path in life. It's not going to be easy, but so worth it! You can tell how much both love Sophia and would do anything for that little girl. Oh my gosh is little Sophia so adorable. Her scenes would have me reading them with a smile on my face. She's really precious! This was a book I couldn't put down. The epilogue was everything! It left this reader with a huge smile their face that's for sure. Looking forward to more Rebels!
