Excerpt:
His eyes surveyed the space, frantically searching for anything suitable to use as a barrier between a pair of lovers and the rough straw.  Impatience surged as Alex pulled his head down to her mouth, and he groaned as her teeth caught his bottom lip.
“This is perfect,” she whispered.  “Just this.”
She broke apart from him reluctantly to separate a bale of hay and spread it in a thick pile on the flooring, and then added another layer in the center as he watched curiously.
“You act like you’ve done this before,” he said in amusement, but she caught the ravenous look building in his features.
Alex shrugged guiltily.  Ian was her one and only, but she hadn’t been opposed to physical interaction her entire life.
“Alexandra Wilde,” he teased in mock horror.
She blushed and continued fluffing a pile of hay.  “I worked at a barn in high school, and—”
“Say no more,” he said flatly.
“Stop,” she chided, tossing a handful of straw in his direction.  “It was my first kiss and completely innocent.”
Ian began moving toward her with the grace of a predator, his lithe body floating through the wedge of moonlight on the floor.  When he reached her side, he pulled her to a stand and tipped her head back, letting her hair cascade over her naked back.  He exhaled over her lips without kissing her, the scent of bourbon lingering as he moved to bury his face in the exposed skin of her neck.
The heat of his mouth in the space right above her collarbone sent a delicate shiver down her spine, and she moaned.  He worked his way up to her ear, his teeth grazing the tender spot beneath her earlobe.
“You aren’t innocent anymore, Alexandra, and we are about to do much more than kiss.”
