~Anastasia~
At seven years old my world went dark and no light has touched me since. Left alone in a world I didn’t fit into any longer I struggle with my blindness daily. Despite the darkness that shrouds me I see light in one place, with one person. He has no idea how much hope his light has given me. Until one fateful January night when I confessed my feelings for him only to be instantly crushed. Now I am surrounded by darkness once again….

~Grayson~
At 21, I met the most amazing resilient girl, she was going to prove to people that her disability didn’t own her. At 25, I watched in fascination as she became an incredible young lady; much too young for me. At 31, I wished that she would ‘see’ me as I was beginning to see her, beautiful, determined, and independent but all that changed in a handful of cruel words. Now at 33 all I prayed for was a second chance to fix my mistakes….

4 Stars
This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. Anastasia's backstory and childhood just broke my heart. I had tears in my eyes. No one should go through what she had. This book touches on some tough subjects, but it is also a book of hope. It's amazing the woman that Anastasia has become. Life could have made her give up and become bitter. She's admirable character that's going to capture your heart. Grayson is prime book boyfriend material. He's so good for Anastasia. It made my heart so happy to see how many people she has in her corner after living a life with no one there when she needed them the most. Her girls are something else, but you can tell how tight their bond of friendship is. I loved Grayson's parents. His mom is awesome and they way she treats Anastasia has her own made my heart feel full to bursting with happiness. It's something she should have had experienced her whole life. The epilogue of the book was the perfect touched needed for this book. It's the ending Anastasia deserved.
