I never wished on falling stars or simply dreamed of making it into the major leagues.

In the blink of an eye, everything changed.

I woke up in the hospital, not remembering anything from that night. What I did know was I had been dropped by my team and that I had a long road ahead of me in order to get back on the field.

Then life swung hard, returned me to the game, gave me some vivid dreams, and dropped the stand-in bride back into my life.

Except, she wasn’t at all what I expected, and she brought her own issues to the field.

Nothing good in life comes without doing the work.

This is now my new favorite of the series. Amias is deliciously dreamy in this book. I mean he is baseball player, one word yum! This book had me hooked right from the beginning. It starts off with a bang and just gets better every chapter. Poor Ellis needs something right go her way. Well the night she pretends to be the bride sets her on the course for the rest of her life. I loved little Georgie. She's so adorable! The scenes with her and Amias made my ovaries explode. As with the other books in the series our favorite Steels pop in and out. I just love it! This book gave me everything I want. It had the perfect amount of heat, humor, and heart. This was a hard book to put down and a book hangover was the result. No regrets, sleep is overrated when a good book is involved. I can't recommend this one enough. Amias and Ellis are going to steal your hearts.
