This is a light enjoyable read. It had me laughing from start to finish. I loved the mischievous animals. Their antics were one source of my many laughs. Not gonna lie some of the characters are crazy and they had to the humor. I had to warm up to Winnie a bit. Winnie is in town because her latest stunt has her in hot water. Though this punishment may be a blessing in disguise especially when she gets a peek at the town's veterinarian. I loved Chase. I mean you can't go wrong with a guy who loves animals. Chase is also good for Winnie. To me he grounds her and makes her take time to take a breath. Both Chase and Winnie are going to truly understand things happen for a reason. There is one part of this book with Chase in the hospital and what comes after that had me bursting up laughing. It's also Awkward with a capital A. This is a perfect read to forget the world and problems for a bit. The characters pull you into their story and drama.
