This book had me at single dad. I'm not gonna lie I was a little iffy about Dawson at first. I wasn't sure how he was going to let things play out. Though he proved himself to me rather quickly. This isn't a typical book that I read. A little on the darker side with Dawson's family for my taste. Though I did enjoy the story. It's a second chance for Piper and Dawson. They have a ton of history with their families in rival MC gangs. Their history is definitely not sunshine and roses. It's very rocky to say the least, but fate has brought these two back into each other's orbit. I don't like Dawson's family at all though his grandparents are fine. I will say I was very happy with where these two end up. I was left with a smile on my face.
