About the Book
Going from a professional baseball player to a SWAT officer should’ve been seamless. Should have been.
But it wasn’t.
All it took was one single calendar shoot for word to spread that Nathan Cox was not only no longer playing professional baseball, but he was also the man behind saving the life of Reggie Morton, the City of Kilgore’s princess.
***
Reggie didn’t know that by agreeing to provide the expertise and the know-how for the Police Officer’s Ball that she would be required to actually attend the function.
What she also didn’t expect was needing to be saved—again—by the same man that had saved her life a year ago when she hosted her debut event.
This time in a not-nearly-as-spectacular way. The moment she falls into his arms like a modern-day Cinderella and takes him in in all his three-piece suited glory, she realizes that she’s been fighting the impossible.
Nathan Cox owns her. Body and soul.

Review:
4.5 Stars
I just gobble the books up in this series and this book is no different. Not gonna lie I read this book in a day. I binged read this one with no regret. It's full of heart and emotion. Speaking of emotions it pulled all of them out of me. I was laughing, crying, smiling with happiness, and yelling in anger. I loved Nathan and Reggie. They have a ton of history and secret feelings. When life those them a curve ball those feelings are going to be everything. I can't imagine what Nathan feels when he gets his news. I would think elation and fear play a part. I loved when Reggie and Nathan start to hold nothing back and reap the rewards. They are so good together. Though everything is not sunshine and roses. There is one part that left me gasping and is one of the times I yelled. I would recommend this one. I really can't wait for the next book because it's the character I've really been waiting for. I'm even happier to see who the heroine is. I'm getting giddy for that. I'm glad it's not too long of a wait.
