I'm a sucker for a baseball hero because I'm a baseball nut. I couldn't pass up this book. Plus look at that cover! Hollis will squash any playboy stereotypes because that man is a gentleman and a romantic. I mean the first date with Lila is completely romantic. For me that would be the perfect dream first date. I really like Lila and Hollis' journey. It's not all smooth sailing and many bumps in the road. My thought through out this book is I could easily be friends with Lila. Our personalities would fit. There is one part of this book that completely ripped my heart out. It truly made me sad enough that I had to pause the book for a bit. Over all it's a great story that will pull out all the emotions out of the reader.
