This book is so good. Each book in this series just keeps getting better. We have met Lisa and her grandkids in an earlier book. It made my heart happy to see her get a HEA. I loved Lisa and Brick. Brick is so protective of her. There are a few times this book had tears forming in my eyes. My heart broke for Brick, but he has such a strong support system to help him heal. Plus he has a few charges who stolen his heart that need him. The suspense and action kept me on the edge of my seat. Basically if I bit my nails that's the feeling I had during some parts of the book. I would recommend starting this when you have to really dive in because you are not going want to put this one down. I gobbled this one up in a day and a half. This is a must read! I can't wait for more from this series!!
