She opened the driver’s side door, then turned to tell him good night. “Thanks for dinner.” Was that her voice sounding all breathy and wanton?

I love a good second chance romance. The descriptions of the land and the cottage create such a beautiful picture in my head. Makes me want to visit. I was completely intrigued by the little treasure hunt these two went on. Now Reese and James have a past that didn't end well. Reese's pull to the memories at her grandparents' cottage may finally give them the closure they need. You can easily feel that the attraction between Reese and James is still burning strong. Secrets, some good or sometimes they can cost you everything. This was a good story that makes the heart happy dance. This a book that when feeling down that will bring you right up and leave a smile on your face.

Makenna Lee is an award-winning romance author living in the Texas Hill Country with her real-life hero and their two children. Her oldest son has Down syndrome and taught her to appreciate the little things, and he inspired one of her novels. As a child, she played in the woods, looked for fairies under toadstools, and daydreamed. Her writing journey began when she mentioned all her story ideas, and her husband asked why she wasn’t writing them down. The next day she bought a laptop, started her first book, and knew she’d found her passion. Makenna is often drinking coffee while writing, reading, or plotting a new story.
