This is a taboo romance, teacher and student. I was a little iffy and first, but trust me it's a heartfelt story packed with emotion and feels. Plus they're both legal adults and the age difference isn't horrible that's made this book okay for me. Eva just broke my heart. She deserves someone like Elijah in her life and in her corner supporting her. For Eva you have to look below the surface to see the true person she's trying to keep hidden from the world to fend off any more hurt. For a small community with money it's not going to be easy for Elijah and Eva.
