Especially when that bombshell turns out to be his new neighbor. The neighbor he was a complete jerk to the first time they met.
For the sake of the team, they treat each other like complete professionals. In public, at least. Behind closed doors, it's a different story. And the fallout of giving in to that heat is something neither one of them can see coming.

This is a book I'm so glad that I read. I have been gobbling up single dad books so that's what drew me to this one after reading the blurb. Then on top of that Luke is a football player. I'm sold. I really loved Allie. She's a character to admire because has a spine of steel. This shows how it's stereotypical for Allie to be judged on her looks, but you have to delve deeper to she's more than what's on the outside. One of my favorite parts is her interactions with Luke's daughter. Faith is a little cutie. The characters and storyline are what makes this such a great book.I was hooked right from the beginning and had a hard time putting this one down. I was so invested in Luke and Allie. I would definitely recommend this book because it delivers on the feels, humor, and heat. Well rounded book that will win you over right from the beginning.

I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen.
