This book hooked me in right from the beginning and resulted in a book hangover. The flow of the book is so well written that I found myself just gobbling it up and found I was half way through. The characters are just engaging. I so loved Sophie's snark. I also loved that when life knocked her down she got right back up again. Then you have Jacob, boy is he swoon worthy. He's bad ass solider, but the way he treats Sophie shows you his true character. Jacob is coming home after years of being away and he needs to find his place in his family again. Then he runs into Sophie and his life is forever changed. The things Sophie has happen to her makes you think she in streak of bad luck, but just maybe her luck changes because she's got the attention of Jacob. I found myself laughing a lot in this one. The banter and arguments between Jacob and Sophie are so entertaining. I love this series and can't wait to read the next book.
