This is the fourth book in the series and it's the next Williams' sibling up. This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Matthew is back in Bluebonnet Creek. It has good memories, but that is overshadowed by the darker ones. I really like this small town. It's your nosey neighbors thrown in with small town politics. Can Matthew outgrow his younger impression on this town because his new boss the sheriff is one of them that sees the old Matthew. Then we have Jessica with an ex that won't leave her alone. A fake dating agreement is made between Matthew and Jessica. This is a second chance of what could have been all those years ago. This book hits you with the feels and steam, but it also has the keep you on the edge of your seat suspense. I kind of had an idea where this was going, but boy was I still white-knuckling the book when that part came. I enjoyed this book a lot, but it isn't my favorite of the series. The Williams family has stolen a piece of my heart. I loved seeing Matthew's siblings in their HEAs. If you love small town setting and a book that can deliver on heat, heart, and suspense this is the book for you. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
