I love when one of the characters is a baker. I get so into it because I love to bake so it always excites me to see what they bake up. This is a great small town romance. Nick has some history with Rachel and her family's bakery and not the great kind. Nick is adorably hot. He is a firefighter with a heart of gold. Always had a crush on Rachel and his captain gives him the perfect opportunity to make his move if he can take the chance. Man I felt Rachel had so much responsibility on her shoulders, but she handles it like a boss. Her ex is a real piece or work that needs a visit from karma asap. I'm glad she has her BBF Jae in her corner. That woman would battle anyone for Rachel. Rachel and Nick are cute together. This is a slow a burn romance, but there is no denying that the chemistry is there. Rachel is gun-shy on giving any man a chance to break her heart again. There is something special about Nick that breaks down her walls.
