This is a prequel to the Sugarland Creek series and I'm here for it! This little taste has whetted my appetite for more from this series. This beautiful second chance romance had me gobbling up the pages. Where it's very happy it also has it's sad pull on the heartstrings moments. Ayden, Laney, and little Serna pulled me right into this one. Ten years have gone by since Ayden has left and boy have things changed in those years. He learns he is a daddy to one awesome little girl. Serna sure has spunk. There is one truly nasty piece of work character that I was so glad karma finally met up with. This book is so good. The tease we got for the first book has me eagerly awaiting it. I can't wait to dive in. I have a feeling the Hollis family is going to steal my heart.
