This book had me from the blurb. A grumpy Scottish hero and single mother, yes please! This one took me a little bit to get into at first, but soon I was gobbling up the pages. I really liked Alban and Leora. This big strong grumpy wolf becomes putty when Leora and Dorie are involved. I really loved the bond Hamish and Dorie have. Melted my heart. Dorie is a little spitfire and adorable. With what Leora and Dorie went through they so deserved what they found with Alban. Alban is so much more than what the village thinks they know him to be. I couldn't have picked someone more perfect for Leora and Dorie. It made me so happy to see Leora come out of her shell. I'm so glad I read this one because it turned out to be such a good book.
