This was a great one. It's one that pulls at your heartstrings, but also brings the heat. Piper just grabbed at my heart. Losing her husband so young, but she has her late husband's friend in her corner. It warms the heart how close they are, but soon more feelings develop. Neither want commitment, but can they keep their hearts out of the equation? The chemistry is strong between Piper and Nate. One of my favorite things is the banter between them. I laughed quite often. Nate is super yummy to me because he has a cat. Major points from me. I just loved the epilogue it was the perfect touch for this book. It had me laughing, but warmed my heart. This is my first book I've read by R.L. Kenderson and I can guarantee it will not be my last.
