Being known as the town rebel was never my intention. I like that kind of anonymity. I didn’t know how much I needed it until I left town all those years ago…outrunning yet another scandal.

The thing is, you can’t run forever. I learned that the hard way, when I fell in love with James Calhoun. I ran, and my life hasn’t been the same since.
