A family curse and a second chance at love. A family curse surrounds the males in the Corwin family when it comes to love and fortune. Derek let his first love go in order to dodge the curse, but was he successful? I was ensnared by this book. The whole legend of the curse is so intriguing. It's a second chance for Gabrielle and Derek, but once again will the curse come between them? This book does have a little of everything. It has humor, heat, suspense, and the feels. There is a little danger surrounding this curse and it rears it's ugly head when talk of the curse comes back into the limelight. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
