I wasn't sure how much I was going to like this one because I wasn't a huge fan of Garrett and Julianne in Hammered, but of course I shouldn't have worried with MJ Fields writing the book. She wove her magic to create an emotionally gripping story. I will say this was harder for me to read emotionally then Hammered. What Julianne and Garrett both went through was tough to read, but how far they have come is so rewarding. Little Brand stole the show. What the character! I felt all the emotions when reading this; anger, sadness, laughter, happiness, and relief. I highly recommend this book if you're looking for emotionally redeeming characters. I can't wait for Gray's book!
