4.5 Stars

I so enjoyed this one. It was a beautiful story all the way around. I adored Mia and Jared together. They complemented each other. Mia is a character that just pulled at my heart. She has a daily struggle that many people themselves experience. The way Jared is with her just warms my heart. Then Jared gets even more dreamy with how he's helping out his sister. Jared had his bachelor ways, but he's on the road to a new man. I have to say he is great hero material. Like I mentioned before it's a beautiful story and the epilogue is the icing on the cake for this book. I highly recommend this book. I'm looking forward to more from this series.

Freya Barker inspires with her stories about 'real’ people, perhaps less than perfect, each struggling to find their own slice of happy. She is the author of the Cedar Tree Series and the Portland, ME, novels.
Freya is the recipient of the RomCon “Reader’s Choice” Award for best first book, “Slim To None,” and is a finalist for the 2016 Kindle Book Awards for “From Dust”. She currently has two complete series and three anthologies published, and is working on two new series; La Plata County FBI—ROCK POINT, and Northern Lights. She continues to spin story after story with an endless supply of bruised and dented characters, vying for attention!
