I really enjoyed this one. Gavin is a hockey player and he's a character that has to redeem himself. I'll be honest he's a jerk when we first start this book, but then he meets Myla. Myla's life along with her brother's changed after one life altering moment. Myla is trying to come back to land of the living. I loved her nerdy side. You know this book is going to be a good one with the Harry Potter references especially a Dobby one. This has a different twist on POVs. Along with Gavin and Myla's we have her brother Bradyen's. I liked it and I thought it was necessary for how the book started out. This book had the heat with a character like Gavin you wouldn't expect anything less, but it also had heart and was laugh out loud funny. It's a well balanced book.
