This is the third book in the multi author series. We are back at the historic hotel. This time we are here to help save the sea lions. I'm not gonna lie I was a tad iffy because of the secondhand embarrassment I was feeling for Ivy. Though rather quickly both Cole and Ivy had me hooked. Blaze is hilarious. This is the first book I've read by this author duo and I'm definitely checking their back list. I loved the banter and rivalry between Ivy and Cole. A lot of funny moments that had me chuckling especially with Blaze and Dr. Orson. This book was such a joy to read. Great chemistry between Ivy and Cole. I loved the ending and epilogue. A great addition to the series.

This is the third and final book in the Knockemount series. This has been sitting on my TBR list for a bit and I finally dived in. I forgot how much I loved this characters. Reading this one brought it all back. We get librarian Sloane and delicious suit daddy Lucian. I got such a kick out of Sloane calling Lucian Lucifer. This book had me hooked right from the first page. It does have a sad note to it especially for Sloane, but for Lucian too. These two used to so close and now they have enemies to lovers vibes going on. Once we get into Lucian's head we there is so much more in play. It breaks my heart that he thinks he doesn't deserve all the happiness. This book also had me won over because Sloane has a kitty. That is always a sure fire way to make me happy. This book has such sweet moments, steamy moments, and keep you on the edge of your seat moments. It thought it was a great way to end this series. A great cast of characters through all three books.

A new series by Pippa Grant with a mischievous cat named Fluffy, I know I'm already in for a good time. I loved Cricket so much. I won't lie I hated reading what she went through and her awful family. My heart just went out to her, but a blessing in disguise because she ends up right where she needs to be. Don't even get me started on the delicious single dad Heath and his daughter Lavender. Lav is so precious and so free to be herself. The imagination she has and the fact that Heath encourages it, swoon. I absolutely loved everyone at the winery. The work they do to help out ladies like Cricket warmed my heart. This book is hilarious and Pip is the main source of the comedic moments. I love that old lady. I couldn't put this book down. The characters pulled me right in. This is a book I didn't want to end. The journey Cricket goes on and the beautiful confidence she regains is inspiring. People who come to the old winery are looking to heal in peace and the ladies who run it give them that. This book gave me everything; heart, heat, humor, and a touch of drama. If you need a book to get lost in from reality this is it. You will have such a fun time reading this one. I really can't wait for more from this series!

The second book in the Hotel Bellwether series. I'm a sucker for a single dad/nanny romance, but add in it's an age gap grumpy/sunshine yes, please! The banter between Jo and Derek was one of my favorite parts. Derek's daughter was just delightful. I loved the scenes with her and Jo on their ghost hunting mission. This was a fast read, but it packed a punch. After reading this you bet I'm reading this author's back list. I was hooked from the beginning of this book until the end. Even the secondary characters had me so I know she has gained a new reader. This book gave me everything I could have wanted. Derek's big move just perfect. I recommend this one!

I love that this book has women in STEM. I loved Olive's friends Anh and Malcolm. Olive has that little bit of social awkwardness that sometimes comes with people with a beautiful smart mind. This is a fake relationship trope between a professor and a PhD student, but not her professor. When I first started this book I was a little iffy, but then I was quickly drawn into the story. Now I'm a reader that usually likes dual points of view, but Ali Hazelwood did such a good job that  it didn't dawn on me until I read the bonus chapter that the book was only from Olive's perspective. I got enough cues and descriptions from Olive that I could tell what was going on in Adam's head. Also his good friend and fellow professor Holden gave enough info to help that out as well. I had a little inkling in my gut where this was going to go and as I say I should always listen to my gut. I loved the side Olive brings out in Adam. He feels lighter and more okay just being and not preforming. The banter between Olive and Adam was one of my favorite parts of the book. That always had me chuckling. I will admit Holden was a favorite character of mine. I loved his personality so much. A great secondary character for sure. Overall I enjoyed this book and glad I gave it a chance when I found out it's becoming a movie.
